Betty Boyse
PDRA, British Antarctic Survey
Betty is a postdoctoral researcher at the British Antarctic Survey. She has previously completed her PhD at the University of Leeds investigating marine megafauna habitat use in relation to their prey species with environmental DNA metabarcoding. In this project, Betty will use environmental DNA metabarcoding to detect invasive species and characterise community composition, as well as quantify current levels of microplastics throughout Inuit Nunangat to consider the impacts of increased shipping in this region.
