Chelsea Koch

Post-doctoral researcher, Natural History Museum London

Chelsea is a postdoc at the Natural History Museum in London working with Dr. Alex Bond. Her background is in Arctic marine ecology and geochemistry, with her research focused on using geochemical tools to understand how climate change and shrinking seasonal sea ice are shifting an ecosystem out of balance and the impacts on local communities. Before joining on NGPlastics, Chelsea was supporting the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. She is an advocate for ethical research and the co-production of knowledge with Indigenous communities and is enthusiastic to be a part of CINUK.
