Co-Investigator, Environment and Climate Change Canada
Dr Flato has spent his career in the development of a series of global climate models used to simulate historical climate variations and project future climate change. He is an elected Vice Chair of the IPCC’s Working Group I and served as a drafting author and review editor in the IPCC 6th Assessment Report. Previously, he served as a Coordinating Lead Author of the model evaluation chapter in the IPCC 5th Assessment.
