Helen Wheeler

Principal Investigator, Anglia Ruskin University

Helen Wheeler’s research spans the ecological and social sciences. Her research centres around the causes and consequences of wildlife change, human dimensions of wildlife change and just and effective monitoring research. She hopes her research is used to support ecosystem stewardship, particularly in Arctic and mountain regions. She has been studying changing beaver populations in the Arctic since 2019, and works with Gwich’in and Inuvialuit organisations to coproduce research.
