I’m a Political Geographer interested in how ideas of identities, language, and geopolitics intersect in the Arctic region. In the past, I have studied state personnel’s understandings of Arctic statehood, people-to-people cooperation in the Barents Euro-Arctic region, and the role of Indigenous languages and inclusion in spaces of geopolitics. I am also part of the Social & Human WG of the International Arctic Science Committee, and the UK Arctic and Antarctic Partnership
