Lynn Moorman

Co-Investigator, SmartICE and Mount Royal University

Lynn is leading the Sikumik Qaujimajjuti project for SmartICE, where she instructs team members how to interpret satellite imagery and create ice travel safety maps for their communities. Lynn is a professor at Mount Royal University where she teaches physical geography and spatial analysis. In 2022 she received the Charles Camsell Medal from the Royal Canadian Geographical Society for her dedication to the organization and contributions to Geography education.
