Tom Johnson

PhD Student, University College London

Tom is a PhD student at UCL’s Centre for Polar Observation and Modelling with a particular focus in sea ice surface roughness. He has a background in geophysics, and has a keen interest in earth observation remote sensing, and machine learning. His contribution to the Sikuttiaq project will include the application of novel methods for retrieval of surface roughness from anisotropic reflectance using the MISR (Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer) instrument to address community identified needs.
